Where are these flowers from?

These flowers were probably not grown in San Francisco. Try to imagine the voyage these flowers had to reach San Francisco. Did they come from nearby, California, another state, or another country? If these flowers had eyes and mouths, what would they say about their trip?

Composition hint:

These composition assignments are not unchangeable. Feel free to use them as a departure point. You are the writer. It is up to you what to write and how to write. If you would rather do a description assignment instead of an imagination assignment, go ahead. Describe what you see!

Good writing comes from a combination of many factors including imagination, research, reflection, brain-storming, and rewriting. Good compositions are not magic. They come from hard work. If you work hard at your writing, you can get better and better at writing. Practice makes perfect!
