Trees, bushes, and plants in the city

There is quite a bit of greenery on this street. Would you like to write a civic-minded composition on the importance of greenery to keep our cities beautiful, an environment-minded composition on the importance of greenery to reduce the CO2 in the air, or a science fiction story about the plants taking over a city? Go to it!

Capitalization hint: Don't overuse capitals.

Many English writers try to limit the capitals they use. Overusing capitals can cheapen them and make them look silly such as in the following example:

Isn't that a WONDERFUL dog!

We normally wouldn't write - Isn't that a WONDERFUL dog!!

Do you see another error in the above sentence?

To native English speakers, the extra capitals make it look like a child wrote the sentence.

Reading practice:

If you practice your reading regularly, you will see that most writing is very moderate in its use of capitals. Read, watch, and learn.
