Yes, the spot next to the Thai restaurant is for rent. Have you ever fantasized about going into business? You could have a little bookstore or a little coffee shop. People would come in, buy things, and talk. You could see friends, have a good time, and support yourself. Imagine yourself your own boss, no longer at the beck and call of others. Doesn't it sound wonderful? This composition assignment is to write about your opening your own business.

Capitals hint: Notice that 'FOR RENT' is written in all capitals. This is because it is a sign. This will make it easy to see and call people's attention to it. Earlier we warned about overusing capitals. This example proves the rule: to every rule, there is an exception.
