Flounder with Marinated Kombu - Kombu or kelp?
This flounder is topped with kombu marinated in salt and sake. This flounder is the same flounder as you have seen on other pages, but is differentiated by the kombu. Kombu is used in English and if you google kombu, you will find hundreds of thousands of hits. If you meet someone who doesn't know what kombu is though, you can always explain that it is edible kelp.
