Russian Special - What's on top?

This is the Russian Special, which is spicy tuna with white tuna, rice, seaweed, and green onion. What's on the top of the tuna? We are not sure. If you have an idea, please let us know. Part of life abroad, or life eating foods from other countries, is learning to live without knowing everything. The tuna inside, which was termed spicy, was actually very mild.

White tuna refers to two different kinds of tunas. One is albacore tuna and the other is escolar, which is snake mackerel. Escolar is eaten in some Asian countries, but not Japan. It has been banned from Japan. This must be albacore as albacore is the only tuna that can be marketed in the United States as white tuna.
