Yellowtail - One name regardless of size

In English, we refer to yellowtail of all sizes with one word: yellowtail. Both hamachi and buri are yellowtail in English. Yellowtail is also called Japanese amberjack. However, we do differentiate by adding another word for the yellowtail flounder of the Atlantic coast and yellowtail snapper of Bermuda and the West Indies.

Fish names changing with the size of the fish always reminds me of streets in London. If you walk down a long street in London, the name may change a number of time, while you are still walking on the same street.
