This cod roe sushi was actually quite tasty. Never having had cod roe sushi before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was quite sweet. Never having seen cod roe sushi on the menu before, I asked the sushi chef and he said that many sushi places sell it. Live and learn.

Comment: While sweetness in sushi appears to be a highly regarded quality in Japan, sweetness is not what this American thinks about when it comes to sushi. Many Americans probably share this thought.
