Raspberries are a popular berry in America. Do you get them where you are? In America, we can buy raspberries at the supermarket, find them in the wild, or go to raspberry farms. While red raspberries are the most common, there are also black, purple and gold raspberries. Raspberries are very healthy food, offering high Vitamin C, iron, fiber and much, much more. Raspberries are best picked wild because they are free and delicious! The supermarket is not the best option because they are too soft. They bruise easily and spoil quickly. Many Americans have bought raspberries and found them moldy the next day. While this happens often in Japan due to the high humidity, this is unusual in California.

This leaves raspberry farms. America has many raspberry farms where you can go, pick the raspberries, pay a reasonable price and take the raspberries home. You can then freeze them or make raspberry jam and more to eat all year round.
