Photographer Bitterroot shot this gorgeous picture on the MCG Ranch in Montana. She described the picture as, "late-afternoon sunshine lights up the fields at the Moose Can Gully Ranch, Montana." Few Japanese may be familiar with the beauty of Montana unless they have visited Yellowstone National Park. Three of the five entrances to Yellowstone National Park are in Montana. Montana is mountain country and the name of the state actually comes from the Spanish word montaña, which means mountain. Other popular tourist sites include Glacier National Park and the Battle of Little Bighorn site.

While the vast majority of Japanese may visit locations like Hawaii, California, and New York, the American landscape is full of beauty from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. We hope you will get a chance to see some of it.
