Yes, the last one is a joke, for now.

Seriously, we all know that most airlines are losing money. They blame high gas prices and 9/11, but most of the airlines were losing money before 9/11. Most airlines have a long history of losing money, unlike Southwest, which has a long history of making money. Maybe airlines flying domestic in the U.S.A. need to think about raising their prices instead of nickel and diming for everything. To nickel and dime means to keep asking for small payments. A few dollars for talking on the phone, a few dollars for checking a suitcase... You can see the list above.

International travelers are still spared many of the fees that domestic travelers pay, but our turn is coming soon. And there is nothing that we can do about it....
