English topic of the week
This week, we would like to talk about VRBO (Vacation Rentals by owner), an Internet-based vacation rental business that offers a number of advantages according to their site:
1. Most of their private vacation rental homes are more spacious than most hotel rooms. Families can vacation and have space.
2. Private vacation rental homes usually include kitchen facilities. Vacationers can cook if they would like to.
3. Private vacation rental homes contain many convenience items not available in hotel rooms.
4. Private vacation rental home owners and their rental agents may be able to give you information that only the locals know.
5. Private vacation rental homes can be much more economical than hotels.
We have never used VRBO and cannot guarantee that everything will be perfect. On the other hand, we have stated in hotels and motels where everything was far from perfect. VRBO is not the only business offering such services, but they appear to be one of the best.
If we had the time to take a vacation, we think it would be worth a try!
